Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has officially expelled its central leader, Md. Zisan Ahmed Pradhan, after allegations of a romantic relationship were initially proven. The decision follows a rapidly unfolding controversy involving his brief disappearance and subsequent arrest in a rape case.

The organizational action was confirmed on the social media platform Facebook by Chhatra Shibir’s Central Publicity Secretary, SM Farhad. Presenting the organization's official stance regarding the Zisan Ahmed issue, the statement detailed key operational updates and structural decisions.

Administrative Isolation and Lack of Direct Contact

The student organization highlighted that since law enforcement authorities located Zisan last night, neither his family members nor any representative delegation from Chhatra Shibir has been allowed to speak with him.

According to SM Farhad, this administrative isolation remained absolute until 1:30 PM today, Saturday. Because Zisan remains in strict police custody, the organization noted it has had zero opportunity to document his detailed account regarding his missing period or alleged abduction. Consequently, they stated that no secondary source exists to verify the circumstances of his disappearance outside of official police statements.

Claims of Plaintiff's Detainment and Confirmed Relationship

The central leadership further revealed statements from Sabikunnahar, the elder sister of the plaintiff, Liza Akhter. According to the family, a contingent of 15 to 20 law enforcement personnel arrived at their residence yesterday afternoon and escorted Liza away, explicitly barring other family members from accompanying her.

The statement alleges that Liza and her father are currently being held in isolated police custody, completely cut off from external communication. While Sabikunnahar maintained she is entirely unaware of the specific mechanics behind the ongoing lawsuit or police procedures due to this isolation, she explicitly confirmed to the organization that she was already well aware of a pre-existing romantic relationship between Zisan and Liza.

Organizational Expulsion and Promise of Legal Aid

Chhatra Shibir conceded that due to their inability to directly communicate with any of the primary parties involved, they have not yet been able to unearth the underlying reality or mystery surrounding the abduction claims.

However, because the existence of a romantic relationship has been preliminarily proven—which violates the internal code of conduct of the faith-based student body—the organization executed its disciplinary protocols to permanently expel Zisan from all ranks. The organization added that if any criminal wrongdoing is conclusively proven through transparent legal channels, it stands ready to extend all necessary legal assistance to the victim.
