Former Awami League MP Passes Away

ABM Anwarul Haque, former Member of Parliament from Manikganj-1 (Doulatpur-Ghior-Shibaloy) constituency and a leader of the banned Awami League, has passed away.
He breathed his last on Sunday (5 April) at around 8:00 AM while undergoing treatment at Shyamoli Specialized Hospital in Dhaka.
According to his Personal Assistant, Advocate Nizam Uddin, the former MP had been suffering from various age-related complications for a long time and was under treatment at the hospital.
He is survived by two wives, three sons, two daughters, and a large number of well-wishers.
