Government Appoints New DCs in 11 Districts; See the Full List
The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DC) and District Magistrates in 11 districts across the country. A notification was issued by the Field Administration-2 branch of the Ministry of Public Administration today, Sunday, March 29, following the President's order.
Under this directive, 11 officials with the rank of Deputy Secretary from the BCS (Administration) cadre have been posted to their new work locations. Among the new appointees, Kazi Shahidul Islam from the Ministry of Public Administration has been made the DC of Rajshahi, while Lutfun Nahar from the Ministry of Home Affairs will serve in Chuadanga.
Hure Jannat, previously a Deputy Secretary at the Secondary and Higher Education Division, has been appointed as the DC of Khulna. Additionally, Morjina Akter from the Finance Division will take charge of Madaripur, and Md. Abu Sayeed, Deputy Director of the Government Printing Press, has been assigned to Brahmanbaria.

The list continues with Ahmed Ziaur Rahman from the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, who has been appointed to Chandpur. G.M. Sarfaraz from the Cabinet Division will serve as the DC of Habiganj, while Israt Jahan Keya from the Ministry of Labour and Employment has been posted to Narsingdi.
Shilpi Rani Roy from the Ministry of Cultural Affairs has been named the DC of Meherpur. Rounding out the appointments, Muhammad Rashedul Huq Prodhan, Secretary of the Power Development Board, has been posted to Lalmonirhat, and Md. Samiul Ferdous from the Land Management Automation Project will serve in Bandarban.
