Saudi Ambassador Pays Courtesy Call on PM Tarique Rahman

Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Dhaka, Dr. Abdullah Jafar H. bin Abia, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today. The meeting took place at 11:00 am in the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat.
Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon confirmed the meeting and said both sides discussed matters of mutual interest between the two brotherly nations, as well as preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.
Earlier, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived at the Secretariat at 9:05 am to begin his office work. Chief Secretary A.B.M. Abdus Sattar welcomed him upon arrival.
