Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to Address the Nation Tonight at 7 PM

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will deliver a national address tonight (Wednesday, 18 February) at 7:00 PM. The speech will be broadcast live by Bangladesh Television (BTV). This was confirmed in an official government information release.
The address comes one day after Tarique Rahman took oath as Prime Minister on Tuesday (17 February). He was sworn in at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban by President Md. Sahabuddin. Following the Prime Minister, the new ministers and then state ministers took their oaths.
The speech is expected to outline the new government's vision and priorities following BNP's landslide victory in the 13th National Parliament election.
