BNP Sweeps 28 Seats with Over 1 Lakh Margin; Jamaat Wins 2, NCP 1

In the 13th National Parliament election, 31 candidates won their seats with vote margins exceeding 1 lakh, according to unofficial results analysis. Three candidates achieved margins over 1.5 lakh votes: two from BNP and one from Jamaat-e-Islami. Additionally, 28 candidates won with margins over 1 lakh votes, including 26 from BNP, one from Jamaat-e-Islami, and one from the National Citizens Party (NCP) in Jamaat's electoral alliance.

Top Three Margins Over 1.5 Lakh Votes

Dipen Dewan of BNP in Rangamati won by 1 lakh 70 thousand 322 votes, securing 2 lakh 1 thousand 544 votes against Pahel Chakma's 31 thousand 222 votes. Md. Harun-or-Rashid of BNP in Rajbari-2 won by 1 lakh 69 thousand 955 votes, obtaining 2 lakh 37 thousand 254 votes against NCP candidate Jamil Hijazi's 67 thousand 299 votes. Muhammad Abdul Khaleq of Jamaat-e-Islami in Satkhira-2 won by 1 lakh 50 thousand 666 votes, garnering 2 lakh 66 thousand 959 votes against BNP's Md. Abdur Rauf's 1 lakh 16 thousand 229 votes.

Winners with Over 1 Lakh Vote Margins

Md. Majedur Rahman of Jamaat-e-Islami in Gaibandha-1 won by 1 lakh 2 thousand 729 votes (1 lakh 40 thousand 726 against BNP's 37 thousand 997). Kazi Rafiqul Islam of BNP in Bogura-1 won by 1 lakh 13 thousand 481 votes (1 lakh 71 thousand 440 against Jamaat's 57 thousand 959). Golam Mohammad Siraj of BNP in Bogura-5 won by 1 lakh 5 thousand 519 votes (2 lakh 48 thousand 848 against Jamaat's 1 lakh 43 thousand 329).

Tarique Rahman of BNP in Bogura-6 won by 1 lakh 18 thousand 658 votes (2 lakh 16 thousand 284 against Jamaat's 97 thousand 626). Golam Mohammad Siraj of BNP in Bogura-7 won by 1 lakh 47 thousand 317 votes (2 lakh 62 thousand 501 against Jamaat's 1 lakh 15 thousand 184). A.K.M. Selim Reza Habib of BNP in Pabna-2 won by 1 lakh 38 thousand 563 votes (2 lakh 13 thousand 950 against Jamaat's 75 thousand 377).

Md. Asaduzzaman of BNP in Jhenaidah-1 won by 1 lakh 16 thousand 21 votes (1 lakh 71 thousand 598 against Jamaat's 55 thousand 577). Air Vice Marshal (retd) Altaf Hossain Chowdhury of BNP in Patuakhali-1 won by 1 lakh 5 thousand 777 votes (1 lakh 52 thousand 87 against Islami Andolan's 46 thousand 310). Md. Nurul Islam of BNP in Bhola-4 won by 1 lakh 7 thousand 914 votes (1 lakh 89 thousand 351 against Jamaat's 81 thousand 437).

Abdus Salam (Pintu) of BNP in Tangail-2 won by 1 lakh 37 thousand 342 votes (1 lakh 98 thousand 213 against Jamaat's 60 thousand 871). Md. Mostafizur Rahman (Babul) of BNP in Jamalpur-3 won by 1 lakh 26 thousand 607 votes (2 lakh 6 thousand 214 against 79 thousand 607). Md. Lutfozzaman Babar of BNP in Netrokona-4 won by 1 lakh 20 thousand 961 votes (1 lakh 60 thousand 801 against Jamaat's 39 thousand 840). Md.
