Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has now promised minister posts to at least six alliance figures if the Jamaat-led 11-party bloc wins the 13th National Parliament election.
The latest pledge came Monday (9 February) at a Mohammadpur rally, where he said Dhaka‑13 candidate and Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish Ameer Allama Mamunul Haque would become a minister if elected, telling constituents they would get an “honorable minister.” He said a Jamaat-led government would build a just Bangladesh free of corruption and extortion.
Earlier commitments:
8 February: Rahman said National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid would be an important minister if the alliance forms government.
31 January, Cumilla‑11 (Chouddagram): Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer and candidate Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher would be a senior cabinet member.
2 February, Maheshkhali: Maheshkhali‑Kutubdia candidate Hamidur Rahman Azad could become a key minister; Rahman called him a bold voice for local rights.
24 January, Ullapara, Sirajganj: If a 10-party unity government is formed and voters elect Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, “you will get a minister,” Rahman said.
These announcements sketch a partial cabinet lineup the alliance is offering voters ahead of the 12 February polls.
