Female Family Members, Advisers Join Khaleda Zia’s Janaza

Female family members, advisers of the interim government, and other distinguished personalities participated in Begum Khaleda Zia’s namaz-e-janaza in the specially reserved area for women.

The funeral prayer for the three-time former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia took place around 3:00 pm across Manik Mia Avenue in the capital.

Millions of people from all walks of life — including Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, advisers of the interim government, political leaders, foreign guests, and diplomats — joined the massive namaz-e-janaza to pay their final respects and bid farewell to Begum Zia.

The congregation reflected the deep national grief and reverence for the veteran leader who dedicated decades to Bangladesh’s democratic struggle.
