Dear Osman Hadi, We have not come to bid you farewell: Chief Adviser

Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has commented, 'Dear Osman Hadi, I have not come to bid you farewell.' He said this in his speech before the janaza of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi this afternoon today Saturday (20 December).

At that time, top leaders of various political parties including BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami and NCP were present with him.

The Chief Adviser said, today we have not come here to bid farewell to Osman Hadi. Hadi will remain in all our hearts. Osman Hadi, we will implement the work you have left behind. You are in our hearts.

Earlier in the morning, autopsy of Osman Hadi's body was completed at Suhrawardy Hospital. Later, the body was taken again to the Heart Disease Institute. After ghusl there, the body was brought in procession with participation of comrades and supporters to Manik Mia Avenue at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.

From morning on that day, people started coming to the parliament area. Around 1 pm, it was seen that Manik Mia Avenue's Farmgate, Bijoy Sarani, Asad Gate and surrounding areas were filled with people. They raised slogans like 'We will all become Hadi, fight through ages', 'We will not let Hadi bhai's blood go in vain'.

Inqilab Moncho said based on the family's demand, decision has been taken to bury martyr Osman Hadi beside national poet Nazrul.

The janaza namaz of martyr Osman Hadi will be led by his elder brother Abu Bakr Siddique. Neurosurgery doctor of Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital and member-secretary of National Health Alliance (NHA) Dr. Md. Abdul Ahad confirmed this and said the janaza namaz of martyr Osman Hadi will be led by his elder brother Abu Bakr Siddique. Burial will take place beside the grave of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
