Osman Hadi’s condition stable in Singapore, brother shares positive update
Inqilab Moncho spokesperson and independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency Sharif Osman Hadi is currently undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital.
His elder brother Omar Faruk shared encouraging news about Hadi’s improving health from Singapore late Monday night.
Quoting doctors around 12:30 am, Omar Faruk said Hadi’s breathing and heartbeat are now normal, with his heart function showing improvement compared to earlier. Physicians have described his condition as stable.
Sources said Hadi’s health deteriorated en route to Singapore when his breathing and heartbeat increased. He was rushed from the airport to the ICU at Singapore General Hospital, where treatment began immediately.
Omar Faruk added that doctors administered several medications via saline and kept him under observation for two hours. Hadi then began responding to treatment, with his breathing and heartbeat normalising and his heart performing better than before.
Once stabilised late Monday night (until around 2:00 am Bangladesh time), all essential medical tests were completed. He has been placed in a specialised ICU and will remain under close monitoring by doctors from Monday night through Tuesday afternoon.
Hadi was admitted to Singapore General Hospital at around 6:50 pm Bangladesh time.
