Education Ministry to Hold Emergency Meeting Over SSC and HSC Syllabus
Education Minister Dr. A.N.M. Ehsanul Hoque Milan has announced that an emergency meeting will be held today to discuss the SSC and HSC examination syllabi as part of a broader effort to eliminate session jams in the education sector. He shared this information on Wednesday (May 13) during a solar plant agreement signing ceremony between Omera and Dhaka Residential Model College.
The Education Minister emphasized that the government is sparing no effort in the field of education. He noted that specific initiatives are being undertaken to ensure that the completion of SSC and HSC examinations does not lead to any academic delays. The government plans to ensure that the 10-year schooling period for SSC and the 12-year period for HSC remain strictly within their intended timelines.
Dr. Milan further stated that today's meeting would focus on strategies to cover the syllabi effectively without wasting time, ensuring that examinations are held on schedule. Decisions regarding these academic adjustments are expected to be announced following the conclusion of the meeting.
The Minister also reiterated that the government's primary goal is to streamline the examination process so that students can progress through their academic milestones without the burden of unnecessary delays or extended session periods.
