At least 243 students and teachers have been killed in Iran since the war with Israel and the United States began on 28 February, according to an official from Iran’s Education Ministry.

Meanwhile, a 10-year-old girl in the city of Yazd has died from “panic and mental stress” caused by the sound of an explosion. Iran’s Fars News Agency reported the incident.

Citing the deputy governor of Yazd province, the report said the explosion occurred during a U.S.-Israeli strike on a military position outside the city. The loud blast terrified the child, leading to fatal mental trauma.
