Madrasah Board Records Highest Pass Rate in HSC

The results of the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were announced today at 11:00am across institutions and websites. The average pass rate across nine general, madrasah, and technical boards stands at 58.83%. However, the Madrasah Board, despite a decline, achieved the highest pass rate at 75.61%.

The Alim exam under the Madrasah Board recorded a 75.61% pass rate, down from 93.40% last year. This year, 4,268 students secured GPA-5, compared to 9,613 in 2024, reflecting a significant drop.

A total of 86,102 Alim examinees participated under the Madrasah Board across 2,682 madrasahs at 459 centres. The Technical Board had 1,09,611 HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce candidates across 1,824 institutions at 733 centres.

How to Check Results

Students can access Alim results via:

  1. www.educationboardresults.gov.bd: Enter roll and registration numbers to download the result sheet.
  2. SMS: Type Alim MAD and send to 16222. Example: Alim MAD 123456 2025 to 16222.

Re-scrutiny applications for HSC and equivalent exams start on Friday, October 17. Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee Chairman Khandaker Ehsanul Kabir stated that applications can be submitted via www.rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd from October 17 to 23. Detailed procedures will be available on education board websites and in newspapers.
