SSC and Dakhil exams to have common question papers in 13 subjects
The 2027 SSC and Dakhil examinations will be held with common question papers in 13 subjects, according to a notification issued by the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board on Monday (September 15).
The subjects that will have common question papers for SSC and Dakhil candidates are:
- Bangla 2nd Paper
- English 1st Paper
- English 2nd Paper
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Mathematics
- Bangladesh and Global Studies
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Higher Mathematics
- Civics and Citizenship
- Agricultural Studies
- Home Science
The notification said common question papers will be used for these 13 subjects in the 2027 examinations.
However, Bangla 1st Paper will have separate question papers for regular SSC and Dakhil candidates because of differences in their respective syllabuses, despite the subject code being changed to 101.
The board said the existing subject codes mentioned on registration cards will remain unchanged for irregular candidates. They will continue to receive separate question papers as before.
The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board has instructed all madrasas under its jurisdiction, as well as concerned teachers, staff, students and relevant board sections, to take necessary steps in accordance with the notification.
