Good News for MPO Madrasa Teachers: Baisakhi Allowance Approved

MPO-enlisted madrasa teachers and staff are set to receive Baisakhi Allowance, according to a positive announcement from the Education Ministry.
The government has decided to provide the allowance at the rate of 50% of their basic salary on the occasion of Pohela Boishakh.
A high-level source at the Education Ministry confirmed the development to The Daily Campus on Monday (13 April). The allowance will be disbursed to all MPO-enlisted madrasa teachers and employees for the current fiscal year.
Madrasa teachers have long been demanding the Baisakhi Allowance. They have welcomed the government’s decision.
The detailed disbursement process and timeline will be announced soon through the Madrasa Education Department.
