The Festival of Youth National Football Championship 2025 launched with a dazzling opening ceremony at Munshiganj Stadium, igniting a nationwide celebration of youth, football, and unity. Organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the championship promises to showcase emerging talent and rekindle district-level football fervor.

The opening match saw Munshiganj take on Madaripur, setting an electric tone for the tournament, which features 64 district teams competing across eight zones. The championship follows a home-and-away qualifier format, culminating in knockout rounds and a grand final slated for November 2025.

The event radiated energy, reflecting the interim government’s commitment to youth empowerment, sports development, and national unity.

This championship, a flagship initiative under the Festival of Youth 2025—Creating A New Bangladesh, led by the Chief Adviser’s Office and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, aims to foster cooperation and celebrate local heroes and changemakers. With 112 matches planned nationwide, the tournament is poised to unearth new football talent and strengthen community bonds through the sport.
