4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Bangladesh, Epicentre in Sylhet

Bangladesh was rattled by another earthquake on Sunday afternoon, marking the second such tremor in just seven days.
The quake, registering 4.0 on the Richter scale, struck at 12:19pm with its epicentre located in Chhatak upazila of Sylhet division, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
Earlier, on September 14, a stronger 5.9 magnitude earthquake was felt nationwide, with its origin traced to India's Assam region.
