The National Fitra Determination Committee of Islamic Foundation has fixed the Fitra rate for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 (1447 Hijri).

  • Minimum Fitra rate: Tk 110 per person
  • Maximum Fitra rate: Tk 2,805 per person

These rates were unanimously decided in a meeting of the committee on Tuesday (24 February) evening. The rates will be formally announced on Wednesday (25 February).

Fitra rates are generally determined based on the market price of staple food items (rice, wheat, barley, dates, raisins, etc.). This year’s minimum rate of Tk 110 is based on the approximate market value of 2.5 kg of rice or equivalent food. The maximum rate of Tk 2,805 is based on the price of superior quality food grains (such as Basmati rice).

It is preferable to pay Fitra before Eid prayers or on the morning of Eid day. However, it can be paid from the last ten days of Ramadan onward.
