Saudi Gifted Dates Distributed: Check Your District's Allocation

The government has finalized the distribution of 12,500 cartons of dates received as a gift from Saudi Arabia across the country. Provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, these dates have been officially allocated in favor of the respective Deputy Commissioners (DCs).

Recent directives sent to the relevant authorities specify that the distribution process will be managed directly through the DCs based on a pre-defined list.

As per the official allocation, Dhaka district has received 297 cartons, Narayanganj 101, Gazipur 103, Munshiganj 180, Manikganj 171, Narsingdi 188, Tangail 318, Kishoreganj 287, Faridpur 214, Gopalganj 175, Madaripur 157, Shariatpur 173, and Rajbari 110 cartons.

In the Mymensingh and Chattogram regions, Mymensingh has been allocated 384, Netrokona 226, Jamalpur 177, Sherpur 137, Chattogram 518, Cox's Bazar 187, Rangamati 130, Khagrachari 97, Bandarban 90, Cumilla 520, Brahmanbaria 267, Chandpur 235, Noakhali 243, Lakshmipur 154, and Feni 112 cartons.

For the Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions, Rajshahi received 190, Chapainawabganj 116, Naogaon 259, Natore 135, Pabna 196, Sirajganj 221, Bogura 291, and Joypurhat 81 cartons. In the north, Rangpur received 201, Kurigram 192, Nilphamari 161, Gaibandha 214, Lalmonirhat 116, Dinajpur 274, Thakurgaon 141, and Panchagarh 112 cartons.

The Khulna division has been allocated 182, Bagerhat 203, Satkhira 207, Jashore 247, Jhenaidah 175, Magura 92, Narail 101, Kushtia 174, Meherpur 51, and Chuadanga 105 cartons. Meanwhile, Barishal received 234, Patuakhali 202, Bhola 187, Pirojpur 139, Barguna 110, and Jhalakathi 82 cartons. In the Sylhet region, Sylhet received 290, Habiganj 206, Moulvibazar 178, and Sunamganj 234 cartons.

Additionally, specific allocations were made outside the general district list: 185 cartons were granted to the Mastul Foundation in Dhaka, 50 cartons to the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Dhaka, and 15 cartons to the Chattogram Port Authority.
