Five Killed as Gas-Laden Lorry Hits CNG Auto-Rickshaw in Kushtia

Five people were killed when a gas-laden lorry collided with a passenger-carrying CNG-run auto-rickshaw on the bypass road in Kushtia. The accident occurred around 2:00 pm today (Saturday).
Chourhas Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Obaid confirmed the incident. He said three women and two men died in the crash.
A relative of one of the deceased at the hospital premises said all victims were residents of Khajanagar in Kushtia. They were returning from Bagha upazila in Rajshahi.
Four of the deceased have been identified as Amena, Kamela, Zakaria, and Ashraful. The identity of the fifth victim is yet to be known. The first three were related to each other.
