District Jamaat Ameer Detained with Half a Crore at Saidpur Airport

Thakurgaon district Jamaat ameer Belal Uddin Pradhan was detained at Saidpur Airport with over Tk 50 lakh in cash. Nilphamari Superintendent of Police confirmed the detention to The Daily Campus, saying the cash is yet to be counted and no details have been released on its source or any potential case officially. Belal Uddin initially told the press the money was for business, citing his involvement in garments.
