Osman Hadi Murder Trial Within 90 Days: Asif Nazrul

Law Adviser Asif Nazrul has said the trial of Sharif Osman Hadi murder will be held in speedy trial tribunal. He announced this information in his Facebook status today Monday (22 December). He said under section 10 of Speedy Trial Tribunal Act, 2002, trial will be completed within maximum 90 days after police report arrives.

Earlier, Inqilab Moncho demanded immediate formation of a judicial tribunal to ensure fair and speedy trial in Sharif Osman Hadi murder case. They also demanded taking assistance from international intelligence agencies if necessary.

At a press conference organised this morning, it was said immediate action is needed on two matters. Speedy judicial tribunal and taking assistance from professional intelligence for work of this tribunal. Delay will not do. To make election stable and fair, killers of Hadi must be arrested quickly. This is our demand.
