HSC Result 2025: Answer Script Evaluation Time Extended, Publication Date Awaited

The publication date for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination results for 2025 has yet to be finalized. The date will be determined once the evaluation of answer scripts is completed. This year, the time allocated for teachers to evaluate answer scripts has been extended, according to sources from the Dhaka Education Board and the Inter-Education Board Sub-Committee.
On Saturday (13 September), Professor Dr. Khandaker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and Coordinator of the Inter-Education Board Sub-Committee, told The Daily Campus that the evaluation process is ongoing. The results will be published once all activities are finalized.
Professor S M Kamal Uddin Haider, Controller of Examinations at the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, indicated that the results are likely to be published around mid-October. Speaking to The Daily Campus, he said, “This year, the time for teachers to evaluate answer scripts has been increased. Previously, teachers were given 15 days, but now they have up to 20 days for many subjects. We hope to release the results within 60 days of the examination, by mid-October.”
The HSC and equivalent examinations for 2025 commenced on 26 June. A total of 12,51,111 students participated across 11 education boards, including 6,18,015 male and 6,33,096 female students. The examinations were conducted at 2,797 centers nationwide. Compared to 2024, when 13,32,993 students appeared, this year’s candidate count decreased by 81,882.
