HSC Results Likely to Be Published on October 29
The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations are likely to be published on October 29, a Thursday, according to sources at the Ministry of Education.
The authorities are planning to announce the results between October 25 and 29, with October 29 considered the most likely date. Preparations are proceeding accordingly, sources said.
A concerned official, speaking to The Daily Campus on condition of anonymity on Tuesday (October 20), confirmed the development.
The official said Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon was currently in China. Discussions on finalising the result publication date are expected to take place on October 23 and 24 after his return to Bangladesh.
“October 29 has been tentatively set as the likely date. We hope the results can be published on that day,” the official said.
This year's HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2 and concluded on August 8. Practical examinations were scheduled to be completed by August 15.
However, several written examinations under the Chattogram Education Board could not be held as scheduled due to natural disasters.
The postponed examinations were held later, and the board completed its written examinations on September 9.
A total of 1,270,583 regular and irregular candidates took this year's HSC and equivalent examinations.
