The Dhaka Education Board has announced a time extension for completing ongoing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) practical examinations and submitting evaluation scores, setting the new deadline for August 22.

According to an official notification issued on Saturday, August 8, and signed by Board Controller of Examinations Professor Jasmine Taslima Banu, the updated timeline provides participating institutions with additional time to finalize practical assessments.

Under previous scheduling directives, the Chattogram Education Board was instructed to conduct practical examinations between August 9 and August 18, while the remaining eight general education boards were mandated to complete their practical evaluations by August 15. The latest directive standardizes and extends the completion window through August 22.

In a related development, the Dhaka Education Board published two comprehensive instructional notices on its website on Friday, August 7, outlining detailed protocols for examiners. These guidelines specify how practical examinations for various subjects must be conducted, how candidates should be assessed, and the exact marking criteria examiners must follow during evaluation.
