Chattogram Education Board Releases Revised Routine for Postponed HSC Exams
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Chattogram has officially released the revised examination routine for the postponed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) theory and practical examinations.
According to an official notification signed by the board's Controller of Examinations, Professor Parvez Sajjad Chowdhury, on Tuesday (August 4), the postponed written examinations will commence on August 20 and continue through September 9. Following the completion of the written assessments, all subject-based practical examinations will be conducted between September 9 and September 18.
Key Exam Schedule and Subject Timeline
The written examinations will officially kick off on August 20 with English (Compulsory) 2nd Paper.

August 22: Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Geography 1st Paper (Morning shift); Arabic 1st Paper and Pali 1st Paper (Afternoon shift) -
August 31:

September 2: Chemistry 1st Paper, Islamic History & Culture 1st Paper, History 1st Paper, and Home Management & Family Life 1st Paper
Mandatory Instructions for Candidates
The education board authority instructed that all examinees must strictly take their seats in designated examination halls at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of each exam.


HSC examinations under the Chattogram Board had remained suspended since July 8 due to severe regional flooding and infrastructure disruptions, while examinations under all other general education boards across the country proceeded according to their previously announced schedules.
