HSC Examination Timeline Announced
SSC and equivalent examinations are set to begin in the last week of April this year while HSC and equivalent examinations will be held in the last week of June. Form fill-up for HSC examinations will start from March 1. The education boards have said all kinds of preparations are being taken to conduct the examinations smoothly.
Under the normal academic calendar, SSC examinations were held in February and HSC in April every year. However, due to the impact of the Covid pandemic and various subsequent situations, this schedule could not be maintained over the past few years.
This time also, considering the national election and the holy month of Ramadan, SSC examinations have been shifted to the last week of April. Meanwhile, test examinations and form fill-up for SSC candidates have already been completed. Final preparations for the examinations are now ongoing.
President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Education Board Professor Khandakar Ehsanul Kabir told reporters, “All our preparations have been completed. Preliminary works including test examinations and form fill-up are almost at the finishing stage. If there is any special request from the field level, perhaps one or two days may be extended for form fill-up.”
On HSC examinations, he further said, “Form fill-up for HSC candidates will start from March 1. We hope to complete the entire process within one to two weeks.”
