HSC Test Examinations Date Announced
The test (selection/preparatory) examinations for students intending to appear in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examinations 2026 will begin in February. At the same time, the Dhaka Education Board has instructed all institutions to ensure publication of results by 10 March 2026.
This information was disclosed in a revised notice published by the Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Sunday (4 January).
The notice, signed by Controller of Examinations Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, states that, in accordance with the gazette notification from the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education, the test examinations for the 2026 HSC candidates must start in February 2026. The results of these examinations must be published by 10 March 2026 at the latest.
The notice further mentions that the form fill-up process for the 2026 HSC Examinations will begin on 11 March 2026. The detailed schedule and instructions for form fill-up will be published on the Dhaka Education Board’s website in due course.
The notice describes the matter as “extremely urgent” and directs all principals of government and private higher secondary-level educational institutions under the Dhaka Education Board to take necessary measures accordingly.
