Class XI admission: second-phase applications open September 27

Online applications for the second phase of Class XI admission for the 2026-27 academic year will reopen on September 27 and continue until 8pm on September 28, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee announced Monday.

The results of the second-phase selection will be published at 8pm on October 1, according to an emergency notice issued by the committee. The decision was taken following a September 17 memorandum from the Ministry of Education.

Who can apply in the second phase?

Students eligible to apply include:

• Those who did not apply earlier or applied but were not selected by any college.
• Those who received a final nomination but could not confirm their selection or complete admission within the stipulated time.
• Those who received a final nomination but could not enrol because of an incorrectly assigned quota.

How to apply

Students must apply through the official Class XI admission website by following the detailed guidelines provided there.

Applicants and their guardians must select at least five and up to 10 colleges, considering the number of available seats at each institution.

Key dates

• Application: September 27 to September 28, until 8pm
• Second-phase results: October 1, 8pm
• Selection confirmation: Until October 3, 8pm
• Second migration results: October 4, 8pm
• College admission: October 5 to October 7

Students who are selected in the second phase must confirm their selection by 8pm on October 3. Failure to complete the confirmation within the deadline will result in cancellation of both the selection and application.

The results of the second migration, based on students’ preference orders, will be published at 8pm on October 4. Students selected in the second phase will be able to complete admission at their respective colleges from October 5 to October 7.

No application fee for some students

Students who applied in the first phase but were not selected by any college will not have to pay the Tk 220 online application fee when applying in the second phase.

Such students must log in to the admission website and complete their college selection or edit their choices.

The notice also advised students to correctly identify their quota eligibility when applying. Students and guardians have been asked to pay the selection confirmation fee within the stipulated period after the results are published.
