Notre Dame College Announces 2026 Admission Updates
Following the publication of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate results, Notre Dame College has yet to finalize its specific admission procedures. In an official notice signed by the principal, the institution announced that comprehensive guidelines will be published on its official website as soon as education board policies are released.
Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President and Dhaka Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Syed Akhteruzzaman noted that while total higher secondary capacity stands at 2.5 million seats, over 1.35 million seats will remain vacant. This surplus capacity stems from a nationwide pass rate of 62.25 percent, with 1,138,877 students successfully passing the public examinations.
Authorities have mandated that all higher secondary admission processes must be completed by September 15. During the official result briefing at the Ministry of Education, Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon confirmed that admissions for the upcoming academic year will proceed using traditional mark- or GPA-based criteria derived from SSC results.
