Holy Cross College Releases Admission Notice for 2026 SSC Batch Amid Ministry Clarifications
Following the publication of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate results, Holy Cross College has issued an initial notice regarding Class 11 admissions. The college announced that comprehensive guidelines and application instructions will be published on its official website and Facebook page once the education board releases the official admission policy.
Meanwhile, a senior official from the Ministry of Education's Secondary and Higher Education Division clarified that no new restrictions will be imposed on traditional elite institutions. Renowned church-administered colleges—including Notre Dame College, Holy Cross College, St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, and St. Gregory High School and College—will continue their established practice of admitting students through entrance examinations.
While most public and private colleges across the country rely on centralized online admissions based on SSC results, these four institutions have historically conducted independent entrance tests. Ministry officials emphasized that these colleges will maintain their autonomous admission processes as before.
