Admission Notice Released for Rajshahi University Affiliated Colleges

 

The authorities have published the admission notice for the 2024-25 academic year for first-year undergraduate and honors programs in various departments of engineering and agricultural colleges/institutes affiliated with Rajshahi University. Applicants must follow specific procedures and contact the respective colleges/institutes to complete the application process. The application period began on May 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

 

Application Process  

As per the admission notice published on Rajshahi University’s website, colleges will independently publicize the process through various channels and collect necessary documents, including certificates and transcripts, from eligible candidates. The admission application process will be completed through the ICT Center at Rajshahi University.

 

Application Fee Payment  

The admission application fee is BDT 330 (including service charges), payable online via mobile banking. After covering the ICT Center’s expenses, the remaining amount must be transferred to the account titled “RU Affiliated Colleges First-Year Admission Test,” account number: 0200019525633.

 

Eligibility Criteria  

- Candidates who passed the HSC or equivalent examination in 2022 or later are eligible to apply for admission to affiliated colleges in the 2024-25 academic year.  

- Applicants must have passed the HSC or equivalent examination from the science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.  

- A minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC (including the fourth subject) is required, with a combined total GPA of at least 6.50.  

- For students with a Diploma in Engineering, Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Nutritional Science, Health (IHT MATS), or Nursing, the GPA will be converted from a 4.0 scale to a 5.0 scale to meet the above eligibility criteria. A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required for diploma holders; those below this threshold cannot apply.  

- Students who passed the HSC (Vocational) examination under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board in 2022, 2023, or 2024 are also eligible to apply.

 

Additional Applicants  

If the number of applicants exceeds the available seats, the respective college/institute authorities, under the supervision of the relevant authority, will select candidates for the approved seats through a screening process.

 

Application Deadline  

Interested candidates can apply until June 30, 2025, at 12:00 AM.
