UCBD and Shanta Holdings Partner to Accelerate Students’ Entry into Professional Careers

Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shanta Holdings Limited to accelerate students’ career readiness through structured mentorship, career development support, and real-world industry exposure. The signing ceremony took place recently at the UCBD campus.

This strategic collaboration represents a significant milestone in connecting global education with local industry. Under the agreement, UCBD students meeting specific criteria will be offered internship and employment opportunities at Shanta Holdings. In addition, they will gain access to knowledge-sharing sessions, guest lectures, training programs, and mentorship opportunities — all designed to develop leadership qualities and provide practical insights into professional life.

Kingshuk Gupta, Chief Operating Officer of UCBD, remarked, “We believe education is not only about academic achievement but also about unlocking professional opportunities.
