BUBT Hosts Grand Finale of 3-Minutes Research Project Competition 2025

The Grand Finale of the 3-Minutes Research Project Competition (3mRPC) 2025 was successfully held on Wednesday (22 October) at the International Conference Hall of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT).

The event served as the climax of an inspiring series of presentations, where young researchers showcased their innovative ideas, critical thinking, and communication prowess within a strict three-minute limit.

Professor Saidur Rahman, Honorary Member of the University Grants Commission (UGC), served as the Chief Judge, evaluating the participants on their creativity and presentation excellence.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali, Honorable Vice Chancellor of BUBT, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he commended the participants for their unwavering commitment to research and their skill in conveying complex concepts succinctly and effectively.

Professor Md. Abu Saleh, Honorable Vice Chairman of the BUBT Trust, attended as a Special Guest. In his remarks, he congratulated the finalists and underscored the vital role of nurturing a research-oriented academic culture at BUBT.

Other distinguished guests included Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed, Honorable Treasurer of BUBT, and Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahaman, Dean (Acting) of the BUBT Research Graduate School. They lauded the participants' zeal and the organizers' efforts in cultivating a dynamic research ecosystem at the university.

Awards were presented to the Top Ten Finalists: Kamal Hossain, Md. Sakib Hasan, Md. Simran Khan Mithu, Abu Aftab Rumi, Md. Habibuzzaman, Md. Rakibul Hasan Bijoy, Tabiha Tabassum, Md. Ariful Islam, Jannat Ara Moon, and Rafsan Radi Karim.

The programme was attended by deans of various faculties, faculty members, students, guardians, officials, and staff, fostering a vibrant and motivational atmosphere.
