Exam guidelines
The notice outlines 13 rules, including writing the 8-digit registration number on the answer sheet with a black ballpoint pen and shading the corresponding bubble.
Each answer sheet has a pre-printed set number; candidates need not fill it but must verify matching with the question paper. Mismatch must be reported immediately to the invigilator.
Candidates must follow instructions below the admit card. No one can leave the hall until 12:00pm after question papers are distributed.
Invigilators will check photos and registration numbers on admit cards and attendance sheets. At the end, verify name, number, and photo match before signing.
Mismatch or irregularity will cancel candidature, with legal action under the Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Qualification and Examination for Direct Appointment) Rules 2014 and BPSC Act 2023 Sections 10-14.
To prevent cheating, books, watches, mobiles, calculators, electronic devices, bank/credit cards, jewelry, and bags are banned. Entry denied with prohibited items.
At gates, magistrates and police will use metal detectors for checks. SMS reminders will be sent; follow them. No head coverings above ears; hearing aids need doctor's note and commission approval.
Cheating or using devices incurs penalties per the rules. No hall change requests accepted.
The exam has 200 MCQs; 1 mark per correct answer, 0.50 deducted for wrong. Duration: two hours. Disabled candidates get 10 minutes extra per hour (hearing impaired) or 5 minutes (others), with approved scribes.
