NTRCA to Handle Recruitment of Institution Heads: Education Adviser

Education Adviser Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar announced that recruitment for institution heads and principals in non-government educational institutions will be managed through the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA), with implementation expected soon.
He made the remarks at the World Teachers' Day event on Sunday at Osmany Memorial Auditorium in the capital.
The Adviser also highlighted ongoing efforts to increase house rent allowances and provide financial incentives for MPO-listed teachers in non-government institutions.
For accurate textbook printing, collaboration with the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) is underway, he added.
Abrar noted that inflated marks in SSC exams have been curbed and will continue to be prevented.
The event, themed "Teaching as a Collaborative Profession: The Light of Collective Effort," was chaired by Secondary and Higher Education Division Secretary Rehana Parvin.
Chief guest was Education Adviser Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar, with special guests Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr. Biddhan Ranjan Roy Podder, UGC Chairman Professor Dr. S.M.A. Faiz, Technical and Madrasah Education Secretary Md. Rafiqul Islam, and UNESCO Dhaka Office Head Ms. Susan Vize.
Honored guest was ISESCO Director-General Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, with keynote by retired Chittagong University Bengali Professor Golam Mustafa.
