Selena Gomez has married music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco, announcing the news in an Instagram post showing the couple kissing and embracing on a lawn.

The wedding took place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Santa Barbara, California, in an intimate outdoor ceremony attended by close friends and family, including Taylor Swift, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.

Gomez, 33, wore a custom white halter bridal dress with floral lace detailing on the bodice and neckline, paired with a bouquet of white baby's breath. Blanco, 37, complemented her in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie, also custom-made by Ralph Lauren.

“My wife in real life,” Blanco responded to Gomez's post, which was captioned “<3 9.27.25 <3”

Paparazzi had captured images of a massive outdoor tent and preparations in the Santa Barbara area in the days leading up to the event.

Friends and collaborators flooded the comments with congratulations and heart emojis. The official account for Gomez's Hulu series “Only Murders in the Building” wrote, “Our Mabel is MARRIED,” while her Rare Beauty cosmetics line posted, “So happy for you two.” Camila Cabello, Amy Schumer, and others also sent well-wishes.

Gomez and Blanco, who met about a decade ago, went public with their romance in December 2023 after collaborating on hits like Gomez's “Single Soon” and the 2019 track “I Can’t Get Enough” with J Balvin and Tainy.

They got engaged at the end of 2024 during an outdoor picnic featuring Taco Bell, with Blanco presenting a six-carat marquise diamond ring that Gomez had long admired.

Blanco, known for producing Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” Britney Spears’ “Circus,” and Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger,” and Gomez, a former Disney star from “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “Barney & Friends,” share a professional history spanning years.

Gomez, with hits like “Calm Down,” “Good for You,” “Same Old Love,” and “Come & Get It,” boasts 417 million Instagram followers—the most for any woman on the platform—and recent Emmy nods for “Only Murders in the Building.”

The couple's union marks a new chapter after Gomez's high-profile past relationships, including with Justin Bieber, and follows their collaborative album *I Said I Love You First* earlier this year.
