Chhatra Shibir-Backed Panel Announced for CUCSU Election

Candidates for the Chhatra Shibir-supported panel in the Chittagong University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU) election have been announced. The panel, named 'Sampreetir Shiksharthi Jote', features Ibrahim Hossain Roni as Vice-President (VP), Sayed Bin Habib as General Secretary (GS), and Sajjad Hossain Munna as Assistant General Secretary (AGS).

On Thursday (September 18), the panel's candidates were declared under the Jarul tree on the university campus. The deadline for collecting nomination forms for the CUCSU election was yesterday, Wednesday.

Over four consecutive days, a total of 1,162 candidates collected nomination forms to contest 232 posts in the CUCSU and hall union elections. Of these, 528 candidates obtained forms for the 26 CUCSU posts, while 634 candidates took forms for the 206 posts across 14 halls and one hostel.
