2026 HSC Exams in May-June, Based on Full Syllabus

The 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Alim, and equivalent examinations will be held based on the full syllabus and full marks as prescribed by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). This was announced in a notice issued by the NCTB on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

The NCTB notice stated that classes for students admitted to Class XI in the 2024-2025 academic year began in the second week of August 2024. These students will participate in the HSC, Alim, and equivalent examinations scheduled for May-June 2026.

The notice further clarified that the examinations will be conducted within the full allotted time and for full marks for each subject.

Education boards and relevant educational institutions have been informed about the matter and specially requested to take necessary preparations.
