3 Colleges Announce Class XI Admission for 2025-26

Notre Dame College
Notre Dame College will open its online application portal on 29 July, with submissions accepted until 7 August. To qualify, applicants need a minimum GPA of 5.0 for the Science group, which includes both Bangla medium and English version with Higher Mathematics, a GPA of 3.0 for the Humanities group, and a GPA of 4.0 for the Business Studies group. Students who completed their SSC in Bangla medium cannot apply for the English version, and O Level candidates are not eligible. The college offers 1,810 seats in Science for Bangla medium, 320 for the English version, 410 in Humanities, and 750 in Business Studies. Those wishing to switch streams must meet specific GPA thresholds: 4.25 for moving from Science to Business Studies, and 3.50 for shifting from Science or Business Studies to Humanities. All applicants must sit for a written admission test, with the date and time provided on the admit card. Based on SSC GPA and written test results, the college will select 1,900 students from Science (Bangla medium), 400 from Science (English version), 600 from Humanities, and 850 from Business Studies for oral exams. Holy Cross College
Holy Cross College, known for its consistent academic excellence, will accept online applications from 30 July until midnight on 3 August. The college has allocated 780 seats for Science, 260 for Humanities, and 270 for Business Studies. Written admission tests are scheduled for 8 August for Science and 9 August for Humanities and Business Studies. The tests, based on the SSC 2025 syllabus, cover specific subjects for each stream. Science applicants will be tested on Bangla, English, Physics, Chemistry, Higher Mathematics, and Biology. St. Joseph Higher Secondary School will begin accepting online applications at 12:01 am on 29 July, with a deadline of midnight on 5 August. Written and oral exams are set for 8 and 9 August. Eligibility criteria include a minimum GPA of 5.0 for Science (both Bangla and English medium), 4.0 for Business Studies (from Science) or 3.5 (from Business Studies), and 3.0 for Humanities (or 4.0 from Science, 3.5 from Business Studies).
