The Ministry of Education is set to finalize the start date for the online application process for XI class admissions in the 2025-26 academic year. Multiple sources from the ministry indicate that a meeting is scheduled for Thursday afternoon (24 July) to finalize the “XI Class Admission Policy–2025.” If the draft policy is approved, the start date for online applications may also be confirmed.

Professor Md. Rezaul Haque, College Inspector of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, told The Daily Campus, “We have communicated with the ministry, and they will inform us of their decision soon. We expect to know the application start date by this afternoon. Once approved, we will publish the circular on our website.”

According to the draft policy, admissions for XI class in the current academic year will involve three phases of applications. The online application fee is proposed at 220 taka, an increase of 70 taka from last year’s 150 taka. However, ministry officials noted that the fee hike is under consideration and may be adjusted in the final policy.

The admission process will be conducted centrally online, with technical support from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) under the supervision of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
