BUP admission test results for 2025-26 session published

The administration of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has officially announced the results for the undergraduate admission tests for the 2025-26 academic session today, Tuesday (January 20). The results for all four faculties—FBS, FSSS, FASS, and FST—were released simultaneously on the university's official admission portal.

The publication follows a prior notice issued by the university on January 15, which confirmed that the results would be made available to the public by January 20, 2026.

How to Check Results

Candidates can now access their results by visiting the official BUP admission website (admission.bup.edu.bd). The merit lists and waiting lists for the respective faculties can be viewed through the following links:

• FBS (Faculty of Business Studies) & BBA (Gen) and MBA

• FBS (BBA in FIN, AIS, MKT and MGT)

• FSSS (Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies)

• FASS (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences)

• FST (Faculty of Science and Technology)+FET+FMS 

Examination Timeline

The admission tests for the current session were held in multiple phases earlier this month. The Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) exam took place on January 9, followed by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) on January 10.

The testing process concluded on January 17, with the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and Engineering exams held in the morning shift, and the Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS) exam held in the afternoon shift. University sources confirmed that the evaluation of the OMR sheets for all units was completed in record time to ensure a timely publication of the results today.

Next Steps for Selected Candidates

Successful candidates appearing on the merit list will now have to proceed with the viva-voce and medical examination as per the schedule that will be provided on the university website. Final admission will be confirmed after the completion of these stages and the verification of academic documents.
