CU ‘D’ Unit Admission Test Concludes Today, See the Question Paper

The admission test for the ‘D’ Unit under the Faculty of Social Sciences at Chittagong University (CU) for the 2025-26 academic session was held today, Saturday (3 January).
The test began at 11:15 am and continued until 12:15 pm.
The ‘D’ Unit includes nine departments under the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Department of Law under the Faculty of Law, the Department of Education and Research, and two departments under the Faculty of Biological Sciences. The total number of seats in this unit is 849. A total of 51,505 students applied against these seats. As a result, on average, around 60 candidates competed for each seat.
All units of the admission test are worth 100 marks. The test was conducted through a multiple-choice system worth 100 marks. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Except for the D-1 sub-unit, the minimum pass mark for all units is 40. The minimum pass mark for the D-1 sub-unit is 35.
In the ‘D’ Unit, the question distribution was as follows: Bangla or optional English 30 marks, English 30 marks, analytical skills 20 marks, and general knowledge, mathematics, or economics 20 marks.
