DU Metro Station to Close from 31st Dec Evening

Dhaka University (DU) Metro Rail Station will remain closed from this evening, Wednesday (31 December), as per a request from the university authorities, Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced.

The metro rail authority issued a notice around 4:30 pm stating that the station will be shut from 7:00 pm until the end of today's operations, following DU's request.

The closure comes amid heightened security measures in the area, coinciding with ongoing national mourning and related events. Passengers are advised to use alternative stations and routes for their travel.
