The centre list is available on the Dhaka Education Board website. Institutions and candidates are advised to check the list and report any issues promptly.
It is learnt that SSC examinations 2026 may be postponed by two to three months due to the thirteenth national parliament election scheduled for 12 February 2026. Normally, SSC exams start in February, but schools serve as polling centres during elections, making it impossible to hold exams that month.
Sources from the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee said the exams could be held towards the end of April or beginning of May next year. The routine and all details may be finalised this month.
In this regard, Convener of Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee and Examination Controller of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Professor S M Kamal Uddin Haider told The Daily Campus, ‘Board meeting is scheduled this week or next week. Decision on examination routine and dates will be taken in the meeting. This year's examinations may start towards the end of April or end of May.’
