A decision on reshuffle in the advisory council of the interim government was taken last evening (Monday). Preparations were also taken for oath of new advisers at Bangabhaban today Tuesday (23 December). Later on Monday night, instructions were given again to 'slow down' the activities of organising the oath ceremony. Security branch of the home ministry has confirmed this information to media.

A senior official of the ministry said a letter came to me from cabinet division yesterday Monday evening. In the letter signed by a deputy secretary, it was said new advisers will take oath at Bangabhaban on 23 December Tuesday at 6:30 pm evening.

In the letter, instructions were given to ensure security for movement of dignitaries to Bangabhaban on the occasion of oath and personal security of new advisers. Alongside, several gunmen were asked to be kept ready. However, nothing was said in the letter about how many advisers will take oath.

The official said cabinet division called again at night and asked to go somewhat slow or slow down regarding oath organisation. The letter has not been cancelled or postponed, the official also said.
