Applications for undergraduate (honours) admission tests for the 2025-26 academic session in 19 general and science and technology universities under GST cluster will end on Wednesday (24 December). Aspirants can apply online for Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) until the same day. Accordingly, students have one more day to apply to these 20 universities.
Till Monday (22 December) evening, 1 lakh 78 thousand 160 students have applied to various units of cluster universities. From GST admission test organising committee sources, it is learnt that unit-wise applications are 1 lakh 6 thousand 538 in 'A' Unit, 57 thousand 457 in 'B' Unit and 14 thousand 865 in 'C' Unit.
GST cluster admission test for the 2025-26 academic session will start on 27 March next year with 'C' Unit test. Thereafter, 'B' Unit on 3 April and 'A' Unit on 10 April. Through this, admission test activities of GST cluster universities for current academic session will be completed. Applications for 19 universities started from 10 December.
Meanwhile, applications for first year undergraduate (honours) admission test for 2026 academic session at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) will end on Wednesday (24 December). This year, students will be admitted to 1 thousand 795 seats in four units of the university. Admission test will be held from 26 January to 28 January next, it has been said.
According to notification published on university website, students participating in HSC or equivalent examinations in 2024 and 2025 can apply. Application must be made on admission website. Application fee is Tk 1 thousand per unit. Applicants for Architecture department have to pay additional Tk 200 (total 1 thousand 200).
In the notification, application deadline was from 16 November to 17 December. However, later the deadline was extended till 24 December 11:59 pm. Detailed information in this regard can be found on the university website.
