JU admission test begins with 'C' Unit, 101 aspirants vie for each seat

The admission test for first year honours under the 2025-26 academic session at Jahangirnagar University (JU) has begun with 'C' Unit. This year, JU admission test will be held in a total of seven units including IBA-JU.
On Sunday (21 December) at 9 am, this year's admission test started with admission to Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Law and Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture under 'C' Unit.
From the university's central admission test management committee sources, it is learnt that 47,497 applications have been submitted against 466 seats in 'C' Unit. Thus, about 101 aspirants will compete for each seat.
Today's 'C' Unit admission test will be held in a total of six shifts. Admission test for female students will be held in the first three shifts and for male students in the subsequent three shifts.
