National University degree first year release slip merit list to be published tomorrow

The merit list for the 1st release slip of the 1st year undergraduate (pass) admission process for the 2024-2025 academic session at National University will be published tomorrow 21 December (Sunday) at 4 pm. This information was announced in a notification by the university's Dr. Mohammad Ashik Kabir Chowdhury on Thursday (18 December).

University sources said students will get the opportunity to know the results through SMS from 4 pm on the same day. To know the result, students need to type nu <space> atdg <space> roll no and send to 16222. Besides, results will be available from 9 pm on the university's admission-related website.

Students who secure a place in the 1st release slip merit list but are currently studying in undergraduate (pass), undergraduate (honours) or undergraduate (honours) professional course must cancel their previous year's admission and fill the final admission form online by 24 December 2025. Otherwise, their admission and registration will be considered cancelled due to dual admission. Besides, students selected in the 1st release slip will have no opportunity to change course.

The notification further said students selected in the 1st release slip can fill the final admission form online using Applicant Login (Degree Pass Login) option on the university's admission website with Application ID and PIN from 21 December to 30 December 2025 and collect print or PDF copy. Alongside, students must deposit registration fee of Tk 720 through mobile banking or directly via college authorities from 22 December to 31 December 2025.

At the specified time, college authorities will verify the information and photo displayed in the admission form of students and provide final admission confirmation from 22 December 2025 to 1 January 2026. If there is any inconsistency in any student's information or photo, the concerned college authority will not provide admission confirmation and will inform the relevant department of National University in writing.

Besides, colleges must deposit the registration fee of Tk 720 per student fixed by National University for students admitted in the 1st release slip in any branch of Sonali Bank from 4 January to 8 January 2026. Colleges must download Pay Slip through their own login from Admission Payment Info (Degree) option, deposit the amount in the specified savings account number and collect the bank receipt.
