Verification of vacant posts yet to complete, when will 7th public circular be published?

Information on 72 thousand vacant posts in private schools, colleges, madrasas and technical educational institutions has been received. Although letters were sent to three directorates for verification of the received information, the verification process has not yet been completed. In this situation, uncertainty has arisen over when the 7th public circular will be published.

Although the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) says the verification of vacant posts will be completed soon. The information will be verified and sent to the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) within next week. As a result, the Ministry of Education cannot approve the publication of the seventh public circular this week.

When asked, Maushi Assistant Director (Secondary-2) S M Moslem Uddin told The Daily Campus, ‘After receiving the letter from NTRCA, it has been forwarded to the directors and deputy directors of nine regions of Maushi. Reports on verification have not yet come from the regional offices. Feedback will be given to NTRCA once the reports arrive.’

On condition of anonymity, a Maushi official said, ‘Officers of regional offices were given three working days. As yesterday was a government holiday, there is time to send information until Thursday. After the information arrives, it will be communicated to NTRCA at the beginning of next week.’

Meanwhile, a source from the Ministry of Education said approval for publishing the 7th public circular will be given after completion of the verification of vacant posts. Approval in this regard may be given towards the end of next week. Thereafter, NTRCA will publish the public circular.

On condition of anonymity, an official from the Ministry of Education said, ‘Once the verification of vacant posts is done, NTRCA will inform us verbally. Thereafter, approval will be given for publishing the seventh public circular.’

Earlier on Wednesday morning (10 December), NTRCA Chairman Md. Aminul Islam told The Daily Campus, ‘Almost all preparations for publishing the seventh public circular have been completed. Approval from the concerned departments and the Ministry of Education is required. We will publish the public circular once these two tasks are completed. I hope it will be possible to publish this circular very soon.’

It is learnt that NTRCA has collected information on vacant posts for publishing the seventh public circular in private educational institutions. Information on 72 thousand vacant posts has been received for this public circular. Among them, information on 30,279 vacant posts in schools and colleges has been received. Information on 40,838 posts in madrasas and 891 posts in technical educational institutions has been received.
